Concrete floors are cleaned with a pressure washer or degreaser, any loose screed or previously failed coatings are removed, and the surface is etched to create a mechanical key for the new coating. Rendered wall surfaces are repaired with flexible exterior filler, stabilised where necessary with penetrating primer, and prepared for overcoating. Topcoats are selected specifically for their weather resistance and flexibility: Dulux Trade Weathershield Exterior Gloss or Satin for metalwork; Ronseal Diamond Hard Floor Paint or Rust-Oleum EpoxyShield with anti-slip aggregate for floors; and Dulux Trade Weathershield Smooth Masonry Paint for rendered walls. On high-rise balconies, we manage access requirements carefully, protect properties on lower floors with sheeting and containment netting, use drip-free application techniques, and comply fully with building management regulations regarding exterior works, noise, and waste disposal.

Floor surfaces are coated with Ronseal Diamond Hard Floor Paint, which provides a hard-wearing, anti-slip surface in a range of practical colours, or Rust-Oleum EpoxyShield for heavier-traffic areas where a two-part epoxy system provides superior chemical and abrasion resistance. Anti-slip additive is broadcast into the wet topcoat to ensure safe footing in wet weather — essential for any outdoor floor surface in London.
